You may run into an error deploying SSRS reports when you move an instance / database to another environment and / or domain. We do this often when developing on our servers and moving the entire instance to a customers site (usually the first move of the Pilot instance during the implementation). The user that it throws as an error for is the AOS service name from the source system. I found that if you look at the data in the table “SysServerSessions” after you move the environment, the AOS information from the source system is still there. In SQL you can remove the invalid server sessions and reploy the reports without error. Best regards, Kevin
Category: Microsoft Dynamics AXMost small to medium size businesses that do not have an ERP or integrated system utilize a financial software to keep record of financials, another software that keeps up with human resource functionality, or perhaps this is outsourced, another software for sales, such as CRM, and maybe another software for production or inventory management. The alternative is always, keeping it in excel spreadsheets and spend hours and hours analyzing data and doing calculations to the point that you are now an excel expert. However, by this time, the next month has approached and you start all over again. This is the reason for investing in an ERP system, so you can spend more time analyzing and less time calculating in excel. Almost every mid- sized to large business needs an ERP system that integrates financials with purchasing, sales, inventory management to the minimum, and perhaps production. Few years ago, only big corporations could afford an ERP system and only the people working on these Corporations knew what the meaning of ERP meant. Just as only big corporation could afford to have computers few decades ago, and now almost everyone owns a personal computer, it is important for everyone who owns a personal computer to know what an ERP is, and most of all, what it can do for your business! By the way, an ERP system is an Enterprise Resource Program. |
